Membership is open to all SIT students passionate about chess, regardless of skill level. To join, complete the official registration process online or in person during any club meeting.

We host weekly practice and training sessions, internal and inter-college tournaments, skill-building workshops, and group analysis sessions where members discuss famous games and strategies.

During official meetings you can borrow chess boards, pieces, and clocks. You also have access to our digital resources on online chess platforms, as well as a library of chess books and training materials.

Major announcements are shared via our WhatsApp group with follow-up email notifications. We also post regular updates on our official website and social media channels.

You must register at least 48 hours before a tournament. Please arrive 15 minutes before your match time, adhere strictly to chess rules and regulations, and handle all club equipment responsibly.

Members must maintain respectful behavior at all events. Use of electronic devices or external assistance during games is prohibited. Any concerns should be reported to club officials immediately.
